You may once again schedule appointments and seek care at St. Peter’s Health Partners as normal.

Q:        What is happening? 

A:        St. Peter’s Health Partners and UnitedHealthcare have reached a fair agreement that will reinstate access to in-network care with St. Peter’s Health Partners hospitals, facilities, and health care providers.Patients should book a new appointment to visit our facilities and doctors for care as normal. 

Q:        I have a UnitedHealthcare health plan. What does this mean for me?

A:        St. Peter’s Health Partners and UnitedHealthcare have reached a fair agreement which means you can visit your St. Peter’s Health Partners facility and doctors for care as normal. 

Q:       If I moved my appointment, what can I do now? 

A:        You can keep your appointment or contact your physician’s office directly to reschedule and move your appointment up sooner, as space allows. 

Q:       United approved me for CofC. What do I need to do?

A:     No action is required at this time. You may continue to visit St. Peter’s Health Partners for care at in-network costs.

Q:       Can I receive In-Network care even if UHC didn’t approve me for CofC?

A:     Yes, this agreement will reinstate your in-network access to St. Peter’s Health Partners hospitals, facilities and health care providers.

Q:       I saw my provider while you were out of network, can you resubmit my claim? 

A:        St. Peter’s Health Partners and UnitedHealthcare have agreed to process any affected member claims retroactive to July 1 as in-network. For more information, contact UnitedHealthcare at the number on the back of your health insurance card.
