Crime Victim Services

Support is Available. Healing is Possible

St. Peter's Crime Victim Services' mission is to reduce the incidence and trauma of all crimes through person-centered emotional support, advocacy, medical and legal assistance, and community-based prevention efforts.

Since 1979, St. Peter’s Crime Victim Services has worked to support and empower survivors of crime as they begin their recovery. Since its start as a grassroots sexual assault crisis center for Rensselaer County, our program has grown to offer a variety of services to survivors of all types of crime across New York’s Capital Region. Recovering from crime and trauma is a difficult process; our staff can help. We offer services to crime victims, their family members and friends, and the community.
