Ian Sherman has a nice, calm approach when discussing a very difficult, stressful diagnosis. He always spends a generous amount of time with us and we don’t feel like he is pushing us out the door. He also has gotten back to me within an hour after my phone call with concerns.
So glad we had him. Knows how to talk to family and make them (me) more comfortable about what going on with my mom

I have had consistently excellent experiences at this practice specifically and at St. Peters/Trinity Health generally. Dr. Dinar and his entire staff are excellent: compassionate; informative; professional; clear; and caring.
He is warm, easy to talk to openly, and kind. He is intelligent but explains information clearly.
This time around was the most painful experience of injections. Normally I see Dr Dinar for these videos, but it had to be reschedule with another.

Ian Sherman is in the top three drs I have ever seen and I am 62 years old and have been sick a lot in my life. His knowledge is incredible and widely diverse. He has given me hope and solutions that I have been waiting for for years. So blessed to have him.

I was very pleased with ‘this visit.
Ian, the NP, read all my notes & medical history prior to seeing me. We reviewed how my symptoms have changed & what to do to fix them. He was helpful explaining to me exactly how a VNS device works, as well as the nasal spray I have been prescribed. A referral was sent to Albany Med & my prescriptions sent to my pharmacy right after my visit
He listen to all the symptoms I told him I was having. He gave me some pills to try to see if that will help my situation. And he has ordered a follow up and another stand to see if there’s anything else that might be going on.
The visit was unusually short due it be rescheduled.
He made me very comfortable while explaining my situation.
The doctor was not reassuring about was happening in my future

Ian Sherman takes the time to listen and understand what's going on and really understand what I'm going through. He also takes time outside of the appointment to answer mychart messages and to call me. I really feel heard and understood when I talk to him. He treats both myself and my partner with respect and takes the time to answer all our questions without rushing us out of the office.
Ian was very compassionate, obviously caring about his patients.

My experience with *Ian Sherman was good as any I can remember.
*Dr. Sherman saved my life. I could no longer bear my restless leg syndrome. He ALWAYS calls me himself to see how I am doing! I thank God for him every day.
The provider I saw was a NP so I was not able to answer above questions. I waited almost an hour for him to come to the room, once there he was very dismissive of my symptoms stating that another practice already reviewed my records and he was sure I didn't have MS (but then said he could not be sure). But the most disturbing issues were the notes he put into my records - mostly false. He didn't listen to my heart/lungs/ check my eyes/ have me stand up/check my walk/touch my nose. All of theses records were false. I called the next day and he insisted he did all of those things (even though I know he didn't) but agreed to update only a few components of the medical notes. I'm not sure if he got me confused with another patient but the notes did not reflex the exam I had. Very concerning because I am trying to navigate through these symptoms and come to some kind of diagnose and he did not do a thorough neurological exam. Very disappointing and will not be going back to the practice. It's once thing to be dismissive of someone's concerns, it's another to falsify their medical records.

After my appointment I Immediately called my Mother and told her we need to get her an appointment with y'all. The attention to detail, patience and professionalism Mr. Ian Sherman NP provided is astounding. Mr.Sherman didn't just hear me, he listened and answered my long list of questions. I felt like family and for me that is a wonderful feeling. Sir, thank you for your on going dedication. I hope others are inspired by you as much as I've been.
