Creating Healthy Schools and Communities

Investing in healthy school nutrition environments and physical activity programs can help students reduce barriers to learning and achieve better overall test scores, grades and attendance rates. The Creating Healthy Schools and Communities program provides technical assistance and resources to Capital Region schools to implement policies, systems and environmental changes that promote the consumption of healthy food and expand opportunities to be physically active.
