Since 1984, Capital Region Urology (formerly Troy Urology Associates) has brought the latest urological treatment options and technology to residents of the Troy community. In 2021, we joined Capital Region Urology, formerly known as Northeast Urological Specialists, in a new office at 2231 Burdett Ave. in Troy.

Today, Capital Region Urology offers a vast array of routine urological services and surgeries, as well as a number of specialty services. Our practice offers the latest prostate screening and evaluation blood tests for prostate cancer, the second most common cause of cancer-related deaths in men. We offer non-invasive/minimally invasive treatment procedures such as transurethral microwave thermotherapy (TUMT) for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS), and Botox® injections for overactive bladder (OAB) conditions. The practice also offers state-of-the-art prostate ultrasound examinations, cystoscopy, urodynamics, and prostate biopsy in the privacy, comfort, and convenience of our office.

Our dedicated and caring providers offer one-on-one consultations and follow-up, specializing in cyroablation, laparoscopic and robotic renal and prostate surgery; shock wave and laser lithotripsy for the treatment of stones; and male and female incontinence.

Our compassionate staff provides timely appointments and a comfortable, friendly office experience.

This practice is accepting new patients.

UTI CLINIC (SAME-DAY/NEXT-DAY APPOINTMENTS)

Capital Region Urology now has a nurse practitioner at several practice locations dedicated to treating urinary tract infection (UTI) symptoms and will be seeing established patients ages 16+ virtually through a MyChart or Epic video visit, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The practice will accept new patients for frequent UTIs virtually, but these must be conducted via MyChart (click to sign up for MyChart) and cannot be a telephone call. New patients will also need a provider referral with any past labs.

These visits will be scheduled for the same day if you call before 3:45 p.m. If you call after that time, the front-desk staff will book your appointment for the next day.
