Visitation Policy
All visitors are required to show proof of a negative COVID-19 rapid test that was administered within 24 hours of arriving for a visit. If needed, we can provide an at-home test kit for you. In addition, visitors will be screened for COVID-19 symptoms upon entering. Facemasks are required, must cover the mouth and nose, must be worn at all times--even in patients' rooms--and cannot be removed for any reason (please leave the building if you need to have something to eat or drink). Cloth masks are not permitted. Visitors are also required to maintain at least six feet of distance at all times between themselves and all other residents, staff and visitors. For updates, clarification and questions, family members are encouraged to check with nursing home staff before visiting.
Glen Eddy is proud to be part of St. Peter's Health Partners, a non-profit health system which is licensed as a co-operator of our skilled nursing residence. SPHP's parent, Trinity Health, is licensed as a co-co-operator. Both also provide us with administrative services.
Our partners/vendors: As a facility that receives Medicare and Medicaid funding, we want to be transparent regarding which companies we contract with to provide good and services. Currently, at least 90% of the money the St. Peter's Health Partners' nursing homes spend with vendors is spent with five companies: 3M, Cardinal Medical Products, Ecolab Healthcare, Medline Industries, Nova Biomedical and Smith+Nephew. All of these vendors supply personal protective equipment (PPE) for staff and/or medical and personal care products for our residents.
