We offer a variety of treatment options where participants gain physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being in a safe and caring setting that promotes positive relationships and personal responsibility free from substances.
The Latham clinic offers Intensive outpatient Services, outpatient services and Medication Assisted treatment.
SPARC Latham outpatient clinic is also the only SPARC clinic to offer a Professionals Program designed for licensed Professionals and individuals who have high visibility positions in the community. This program address’s the distinct needs of Physicians, Healthcare professionals, Attorneys, corporate executives, college professor’s, airline pilots and Law Enforcement.
What to Expect
Upon your arrival you will need to provide insurance card, picture ID and complete pre- assessment forms. You will then be seen by a clinician for the assessment. Upon completion of the assessment, you will receive clinical recommendations for substance abuse treatment.
Services Available
SPARC Latham offers the Professionals Program, Intensive outpatient services during the day and day/evening outpatient groups. Medication Assisted treatment, nursing assessment, individual therapy and supportive services for family are also provided.
What Happens Next
You and your clinician will develop a person centered treatment plan with goals and objectives to focus on while in treatment. You will have a nursing assessment and receive a treatment schedule designed for your needs. If needed MAT and MH referrals will be provided.

Answer: It is safe to plan for 3 hours, please bring insurance card and picture ID. If you are requesting services due to a DWI/DWAI, please bring the tickets to the appointment. Your counselor will need these for in order to complete your evaluation.
Answer: Our addiction treatment programs are licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) and are accredited by the Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Our clinicians are qualified health professionals.
Answer: Length of stay is based on the individual and their treatment goals
Answer: Treatment is designed for the needs of the individual seeking services. Evidence Based Practice and Research shows a comprehensive treatment plan including group sessions, nursing assessment, psychiatric consult and/or Medication for addiction treatment when appropriate along with family and individual sessions ensure a successful treatment and long-term recovery.
Answer: No the individual and the treatment team will work together to develop next steps.
Answer: a person needs to be actively engaged in the treatment process in order to receive MAT.
Answer: During treatment hours individuals are not allowed to smoke as we are a smoke free campus, and we can assist individuals with nicotine replacement therapy upon request.
Answer: Patients should contact their carrier prior to scheduling services to find participating providers. Carrier participation is updated frequently, ask the front desk Information Associate about the participation status of your insurance.
Answer: The day before your appointment patients are called to remind them about their service, the balance due and where to go.
