I wish my chart was read before he came in. I had to repeat myself and became frustrated when instead of looking at me he was just looking at the screen and typing away. Other doctors excuse themselves and explain, "I just want to add a note, and look up something."

Dr Katz has been a better listener the last couple of yrs.
Also, after the visit, he sent me a summary of what we discussed. it was a TOTAL fabrication. He did NOT tell me what to stop taking. I told him about a pain and he dismissed it. This is the second time that he told me that I was taking time away from others. I am looking for another doctor.

I came in after 18 years of trying to manage grief, loss *38-year-old wife died of cancer in 2004, child abuse and anger issues, and more; it was not easy for me to take that step and I felt completely rushed, a complete lack of any empathy and actually left more angry. I am changing doctors now and I can onlly imagine how someone woudl have felt that was suicidal (which I am not)...very troubling. I have no interest in an addiional conversation but

Just what I expected
I have been at this practice since I was 18. I felt today my issues were dismissed - I had hives - And was dismissed as bug bites - I had to return to urgent care 2 weeks later - Money wasted because I wasn't treated properly the 1st visit by *Katz. Very frustrating.

Doc is a good guy; easy to talk with; takes his time; does not interrupt;
First on September 24th, dr Katz rapid tapered me off my prescription of over 5 years . I did not receive an explanation as to why until October 15th . During this time I had a panic attack and had to go to Samaritan hospital. All because another provider whom does not prescribe this class of drug (benzodiazepines) took me off. While Kat were aware I may have been anxiously waiting for the medecine up until the last minute when the office would refill, what he did not care about were the panic or anxiety , the reason why your last doctor, Dennis Chichino had me on this for all the time I were. Dr Katz had also mentioned because I tested positive for marijuana . I told him he could test me again, I told him I have been honest with this office before and during my PRESCRIPTION of Alprazolam that I used marijuana from time to time , why it is a problem now, was not fair to me . Lastly the last visit were for a physical. I may have been overly depressed this day and were broken down. But the doctor still did not give me a physical he just asked questions I didn't want to answer to him because of what happened with the medicine . He did not care . He seemed to even talk down to me like I'm a joke. I weren't even here to talk regardless of my depression . I were here for a physical that I have not had since 2018. Then he said he has other patients and to schedule back in about 3 months . He did have blood come in. But I feel so uncomfortable with him I just left.
