This was my second appointment with Dr. Joy, since the first one was a referral from Dr. Dibble after an episode of tachycardia and a trip to the Emergency Room. The first time I saw Dr. Joy, I was impressed with his knowledge and what his plan of action was to treat my condition. During the visit on Monday, he discussed in detail what my condition was (in terms that were clear to a non-medical person like me) and the suggested method of treatment for me that he planned to try.
Dr, Joy is always pleasant and willing to answer questions. He is also adept at explaining everything in a manner that makes sense to a lay person. He is a kind and caring man.
Dr Joy took extra time to clearly explain to me what my options were and exactly what to expect.
Dr. Joy made sure i understood everything even if it meant he had to repeat something. He was so patient and most of all he didn't rush in and out and spent time listening to my concerns.

Dr Joy was excellent in the he took the time to explain my cardiac situation and all of the options that I had to deal with it. He was kind and patient and made me feel confident in his ability to perform a Cardiac Ablation. He encouraged me to get onto the portal and actually walked me through part of it during the visit.

Dr. Joy has worked with me to get through an ablation which required going to another medical center down state. He was good at contacting and responding quickly to questions I placed on the portal. With this visit my time with him has ended.
This office always acts in a highly professional and very efficient manner. That's why I drive an hour for the appt. When I could drive 10 minutes for the same appt in another office.

This was my first visit to Dr. Joy, as my previous cardiologist has retired. I came in without a lot of information about my condition, but Dr. Joy gave me much more information than expected, and reinforced it by showing me how to get to videos on your website to reinforce that information, so I can make informed decisions. He didn't tell me what HAD to be done, but gave me choices. That was refreshing!
