The Dr. was wonderful. My only question was the young nurse was wearing latex gloves hen she brought me to the exam room and never took them off or changed them even after pulling her own hair back with the gloves on. She may be new and hasn't been properly trained

I did not feel rushed at all and I appreciate the advice given.
I had attempted to change the time/date of my recent appointment. The next physical appointments were very far out so I did not change this appointment. My original thought was maybe I should change providers. After my appointment, I realize Dr Ethier is booked up that far because she really is that good of a provider. I am looking forward to many more years of working together.

I'm a new patient, I have had the same doctor for 34 years who Is close to retirement so I was nervous at 1st but after the 1st appointment I know I'm in great hands. I felt comfortable, was able to be open and honest with Gloria about my mental health. She was warm, compassionate, and insightful. I did not feel hurried, or rushed I really felt like she cared and was invested in my well being, I am hoping we can get my wife onto her patient roster.
I think we understood that my care would be a partnership, where both sides are heard without judgement. Being heard is something that is very important to me.
I don't like her pressuring me about getting vaccinated at my appointments. My beliefs and decisions/choices may be different than hers, and she needs to accept that. It makes me uncomfortable with her.

I was not asked if I had any questions or concerns about anything I might have wanted to discuss that was not on the test results or stemmed from her questions. I also feel I was being railroaded into getting the shingles vaccine. Not giving it as an option, which it is. I know it is strongly encouraged but this was pushed that I felt uncomfortable.

The nurse assistant was warm and congenial, putting me at ease. Dr. Ethier was her usual personable, professional self.
