He just seemed rushed that day. He spent 5 mins with me to explain tests he was going to order which is really didn't need to come to the office for. Tech gave me an EKG which could have been done on my next visit as there was no other examination done.

Nurse was wonderful. I always have wonderful experiences with nurses and then feel as though time with the doctor is immensely short. Not enough questions asked about symptoms, prior health issues, etc. I am happy with the amount of recommendation I got, and the exploration of treatment.

I would get special praise to Dr Dempseys nurse. She was amazing! Both her and the doctor and studied my chart before seeing us and that was not only appreciated, but very rare these days!
This was my initial appointment with this particular doctor. He required an ultrasound before it would see me. He asked me a few questions. I had to ask him to actually touch my leg where there is hard flesh so that he would know what I was talking about. He didn't seem like he would have done it otherwise. I was in there about 3 minutes with him and all he did was refer me for more ultrasounds. Seems like he could have just been specific about what ultrasounds he wanted before I came anyway. Seems like a waste of insurance money

I'm pleased to be working with Dr. Dempsey, a younger colleague of the now retired Dr. Card, with whom I had worked for many years through several cardiac issues.
He needs to spend more time with his patients.
I believe that Dr. Dempsey has excellent medical knowledge and I am happy with the treatment he has prescribed for my condition. My visits now are usually just routine check-ups, so perhaps he has more important things on his mind, but he typically spends less than a minute in the exam room with me, never asks if I have any questions, and after being my doctor for six years, he knows nothing about me as a person. If it weren't for the fact that I think the office is well-run and I love his nurse, I might look into changing doctors to find one who is a little more friendly and interactive.

Sometimes I see a PA at my appts. so it was great that I actually saw *Dr. Dempsey. My appt. went well so I walked our like a ('happy patient')!
I was disappointed by the amount of time the dr. spent with me. I'm quite sure it was less than 5 minutes. I hope it will be different on my follow-up. My appointment was 25 minutes late. There has been no follow-up on my first test results despite me calling twice. Very poor feedback. I will see how it goes but may change to a different doctor.
