She was running behind on my last visit and I really wasn't too happy as I had a 9:30 am appointment. I know some patients may have a lot of questions to ask and she is very thorough so that could put her behind. If I needed to ask questions, I wouldn't want her to brush me off so I do understand.

Dr. Ramanathan was helpful, informative, empathetic and, most importantly, a dynamite diagnostician. I had tried to self-help for several days and had been misdiagnosed by urgent care over the weekend before seeing Dr R. On Monday. I was much improved within 24 hours and had info on what symptoms would require additional follow up, what to expect while recovering and a plan for what we'd try next if necessary. Great doc.

Right from the start, I felt comfortable with my interacting with the receptionist, nurse and physician. As I watched the reactions of other patients arriving and departing, it seemed they felt the same. My primary doctor retired this past summer and was referred to this Family group by a friend. Such organizations are large, by financial need. I know, from a friend who works in a doctors office, just how hectic and unfriendly such places can get. I never had that feeling here. The physician made me feel like I could tell her anything....like she's more than willing to keep me on track health-wise and didn't treat me like a number to get in and out quickly.
