Dr Oommen is extremely professional in her approach, yet at the same time she is friendly and puts you right at ease. Truly a lovely office. Dr. Oommen is absolutely amazing. I adore her. She listens every time, cares about more than my thyroid issue, and always remembers what was going on in my life 6 months before at my last visit. You can tell she cares about her patients. I continuously tell people if they ever need an Endo dr I know where they NEED to go and who to see.

dr.oommen was friendly, professional and listened to my concerns. she reviewed my meds and asked me how I was feeling. I explained my concerns to her and she explained that she didn't think it was related to the thyroid. she recommended a speciality that would be appropriate for me to go to to address my concern. she noted that I had lost 10 pounds since being diagnosed and treated. she allows me to express myself and my concerns and doesn't brush me off which I expect from doctors but am rarely given by other doctors.
Dr Oommen is thorough in her assessment, and has a great bedside manner. She explains things in easy to understand language and seems to genuinely care. But most importantly I am getting great prevetative care to prevent complications from my chronic condition.
