I like Dr. Desantis very much but think he was distracted that day. I am sure with so many patients with serious problems, it can be overwhelming at times. I did not have the time to ask him about any further tests I could have or about how he felt I was progressing. I did go on the patient portal later and a nurse answered my questions about further tests, but I would have liked a bit more info about my condition and what else I could do to not make it progress further. This is not an accusation against Dr. Desantis, because I think he is an excellent doctor and perhaps my next visit will be better.

Dr DeSantis stopped taking patients in the Albany office which is where I always see him. Because of my confidence in him, I was willing to drive to Glens Falls from Loudonville (Clifton Park office did not have any appointments available). His nurse/receptionist was one of the most friendly, caring and helpful people I have ever encountered in a doctor's office. It was worth the hour drive up and the hour drive back!

It was all that I could ask for. *Dr. DeSantis usually greets me with 'there he is.' Although there have been several different nurses over time, they have always been very professional and caring. The receptionist recently broke my heart. She got married. I was hoping to see he with my grandson but I guess it was not to be.
