Hospitalist Services
A hospitalist is a physician who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital.
When you are admitted to one of our hospitals, a hospitalist may be in charge of your care. Our hospitalists are board-certified in internal medicine, family medicine and/or other specialties. Our hospitalists’ teams also include physician assistants (PAs) and nurse practitioners (NPs).
In addition to their medical and clinical expertise, hospitalists are employed by the nation's leading health care facilities because of their familiarity with the hospital staff, equipment, and procedures. Hospitalists are available onsite, 24 hours per day to ensure a quick response to our patients' needs.
