Research Topic: Evaluation of the Stress Dose Steroids in Patients in the ICU with Septic Shock 

MUE: Serotonergic drug interactions involving linezolid

Jennifer is from Ballston Spa, NY. Jennifer is interested in critical care and emergency medicine and plans to pursue a PGY2. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys reading (primarily thrillers and literary fiction), discovering new coffee shops, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Research topic: Impact of Dalbavancin Use as a First-line Intravenous Antibiotic in Refractory Cellulitis on Hospital Admissions and Cost 

MUE: Infusion-related reactions with daratumumab versus daratumumab-hyaluronidase 

Francisco is from southeastern New Mexico. Francisco’s practice area of interest includes ambulatory care and medication safety, and his hope is to continue to build his clinical skills and pursue a PGY2 in ambulatory care. In his free time, Francisco enjoys running, reading and watching anything on Bravo!

MUE: Potential Inconsistencies with DOAC Dosing when Recommended for Atrial Fibrillation 

Nicole is from Staten Island, NY. Nicole went to UAlbany where she received a Bachelor’s in Biology in 2021 before getting her doctorate at Albany College of Pharmacy in 2025. In her free time, Nicole enjoys cooking, listening to music, taking care of her plants, and hanging with family and friends!

Research Topic: MRSA coverage in patients presenting with sepsis and acute kidney injury 

MUE: Oral fosfomycin clinical response rates 

Katarina is from Hudson, NY. Katarina is interested in antimicrobial stewardship and critical care and hopes to build upon her clinical skills and establish connections with other healthcare professionals. She values the experiences this residency offers and appreciates research opportunities. In her free time, Katarina enjoys writing, listening to music/podcasts, playing guitar, video games, and watching anime.
