Bio: Katie grew up in Wallkill, New York. Her practice areas of interest include emergency medicine and critical care. Katie hopes to use her experiences in PGY1 to build her skills as a clinical pharmacist and allow her to work towards achieving a PGY2 residency and one day becoming a preceptor. In her free time, Katie loves to travel, read, watch movies and spend time with family and friends

Residency Project:  Sex-specific Differences in Response to Opioid and Non-opioid Analgesics for Patients with Post-operative Acute Pain in a Community Hospital

Bio: Nikki (Nicole) comes from all over Vermont and is happy to have landed in Albany. She enjoys pain management and ambulatory care. Nikki deeply values patient communication and hopes to make that central to her career. She also hopes to be able to have a role in academia as she moves through her career. Nikki will be pursuing a PGY2 in ambulatory care or in pain management. In her free time, Nikki enjoys paddle boarding, listening to Lana Del Rey, and watching Doctor Who.
