Cancer Screenings

Routine screenings are the best way to detect cancer early, when it’s easier to treat. St. Peter’s Health Partners makes it easy to get the tests you need with imaging and lab facilities throughout the region. Your doctor can help you determine your risk level for certain cancers and make a screening plan that’s right for you.

If you need a primary care provider, use our online search tool to find a doctor near you. Our Cancer Services Program also offers free cancer screenings to eligible people.

Nurse Navigators

You may feel overwhelmed after receiving a cancer diagnosis. That’s why we developed our Nurse Navigator Program to help patients, families and caregivers navigate the many aspects of your cancer journey.

Your nurse navigator is an oncology-certified nurse who will:

  • Arrange for transportation, if needed
  • Help with insurance coverage and financial assistance
  • Be your advocate at every stage of care
  • Connect you with social workers, nutritionists and other providers as needed
  • Coordinate timely medical appointments and second opinions
  • Explain what you can expect from various cancer treatments
  • Help you manage side effects of treatment
  • Offer referrals to support groups, classes and other informational programs
  • Serve as a liaison between you and your cancer care team
