No Health Insurance?
FREE Cancer Screenings Are Available!
The Cancer Services Program of the Greater Capital Region offers no-cost breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screenings for uninsured individuals between the ages of 40 to 64. These screening services are supported with funds from the State of New York and are provided by credentialed health care providers across the state.

Eligible Patients:
- Live in New York state
- Do not have health insurance
- Have health insurance with a cost share that may prevent a person from obtaining screening and/or diagnostic services
- Meet income eligibility requirements
- Meet age requirements
Screenings and Age Requirements*
- Breast Cancer Screening (Clinical Breast Exam and Mammogram)
- Ages 40 and older
- Under age 40 if at high risk for breast cancer*
- Cervical Cancer Screening (Pelvic Exam, Cervical Pap Test, HPV test)
- Ages 40 and older
- Colorectal Cancer Screenings
- Colorectal Cancer Screening Stool Based Kit (done at home)
- Ages 40-64 at average risk for colorectal cancer
- Colonoscopy
- Individuals at increased risk or high risk for colorectal cancer
- Colorectal Cancer Screening Stool Based Kit (done at home)

All participants of the Cancer Services Program must read and sign a consent form. This form explains the services offered, your income eligibility, and the sharing of financial, insurance and medical information with your health care providers.
