Nearly everyone experiences the occasional stomachache, or GI tract upset. This temporary digestive disruption can manifest with symptoms like abdominal discomfort, nausea, gas, or diarrhea. However, if symptoms worsen and become severe or chronic to the extent that they impact quality of life, it may be time to see a gastroenterologist.
