Application Requirements

Minimum Entrance Requirements:

  • Applicants must have graduated from an accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree
  • Applicants must have a NYS pharmacist license or be eligible for licensure in NYS
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Due to the one-year duration of the PGY-1 residency experience we are unable to support applicants with Visas
  • Applications are only accepted through PhORCAS.  Applicants will be asked to submit the following:
    • Official transcript from the college
    • Curriculum vitae
    • Letter of intent (Personal Statement)
    • 3 letters of recommendation
    • Three writing samples
  • Application Deadline: Jan. 4, 2024
  • Applicants shall participate in and comply with the rules of the ASHP Residency Matching Program
