FREE Cancer Screenings Are Available!
The Cancer Services Program of the Greater Capital Region provides breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screenings at NO COST to eligible women and men. These services are provided in local clinics, health centers, doctors’ offices and hospitals in every county and borough in New York state, funded by the New York State Department of Health.

Eligible Patients:
- Live in New York state
- Do not have health insurance
- Have health insurance with a cost share that may prevent a person from obtaining screening and/or diagnostic services
- Meet income eligibility requirements
- Meet age requirements
Screenings and Age Requirements*
- Breast Cancer Screening (Clinical Breast Exam and Mammogram)
- Women 40-64, or women under 40 at high risk for breast cancer.*
- Women 40-64, or women under 40 at high risk for breast cancer.*
- Cervical Cancer Screening (Pelvic Exam, Cervical Pap Test, HPV test)
- Women 40-64
- Women 40-64
- Colorectal Cancer Screenings
- (Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) Kit) - Men and Women 45 and older who are at average risk for colorectal cancer
- (Colonoscopy) Men and women at increased or high risk for colorectal cancer.*
*Only as determined by a New York State-licensed health care provider per program guidelines.

Forms
All participants of the Cancer Services Program must read and sign a consent form. This form explains the services offered, your income eligibility, and the sharing of financial, insurance and medical information with your health care providers.
