Toddlers are exploring, discovering and learning at all times. Whether it's building self-help skills, like potty training and tooth brushing, or building a tower from blocks, each component of the Toddler program is equally important to whole child development. The classroom environment and programming provide many opportunities for toddlers to test out emergent and developing skills.

The toddler years are critical for language development. Learning to communicate gives children the ability to express their wants and needs in a positive way. Our teachers listen, elicit responses, talk with the children, ask questions and patiently answer the hundreds of questions asked of them each day. Quality children's literature is read in our programs daily. Classrooms also offer a good selection of quality literature, kept at a child's level so he/she can select and explore the beauty of illustrations and connect to the meaning of printed words on his/her own terms.
