The Waddler program at Mercy Cares For Kids is designed to bridge the gap between a child's need for on-demand scheduling, as our young infant programs provide, and the very busy, more structured Toddler program. The Waddler classroom environment is constantly changing to meet the rapidly expanding horizons of older infants. As children become physically stronger, the classroom environment adapts to allow for more mobility. The Waddler program provides light, flexible routines and schedules with a strong emphasis on language development and communication skills. Teachers schedule art and sensory activities, offer cause-and-effect toys and plan gross motor activities, including regular outdoor play times daily.
