Back and spine issues

Back and spine issues we treat include: 

  • Degenerative disc disease, which includes herniated discs and occurs when the spongy cushioning between your spine bones (vertebrae) wears away 
  • Kyphosis, an outward curve of the spine leading to an abnormal bend in the upper back
  • Muscle strain, discomfort that occurs when muscles in the neck or back work harder than they should
  • Radiculopathy, a compressed nerve in the spine that may cause tingling and numbness
  • Scoliosis, an abnormal sideways curve of the spine
  • Spinal stenosis, narrowing of the hollow area housing your spinal cord, putting pressure on the nerves 
  • Spondylosis, wear and tear on the vertebrae that happens with age

  • Achilles tendon injuries, such as irritation and tearing in the band of tissue just above your heel
  • Ankle arthritis, abnormal wear and tear in the ankle joint that gets worse over time
  • Bone spurs, abnormal growths that develop at the edge of a bone, typically in the heel
  • Bunions, bony bumps near the base of your big toe that cause it to push against the next toe
  • Complex trauma, severe accidents including smashed bones and deep cuts
  • Diabetic foot problems, complications of diabetes, such as nonhealing sores (ulcers), nerve issues and other conditions 
  • Hammertoe, an abnormal bend in the middle part of the toe next to the big one
